The Election Commission is aware of the clip and has assigned an investigation team to verify the details. The video reportedly originated in Election District 9 in Phon District, Khon Kaen Province. Although no official complaint has been filed, the Election Commission will investigate the matter, as vote-buying is a criminal offense with potential jail time and fines. Watchara warned candidates and citizens against engaging in any activities that violate election laws, emphasizing that both those giving and receiving improper benefits can face legal consequences.
