Phimai Students Heroically Rescue Toddler Locked in Pickup Truck
In Nakhon Ratchasima, two students—Mr. Teeraphat Samranjai, 17, and Mr. Phattarapol Chatiwong, 15—became local heroes after rescuing a toddler accidentally locked inside a pickup truck. The incident occurred near the Phimai Sugar Factory when the child's mother briefly left her in the vehicle. Using a screwdriver and wire, the students successfully pried open the truck's door and freed the child without injury. The rescue was captured on video and widely praised on social media, with authorities reiterating the dangers of leaving children unattended in vehicles, especially in hot weather.
