Tragic Incident: 51-Year-Old Woman Found Dead in Noodle Shop Refrigerator, Son Suspects Foul Play

On February 17, 2024, police officers from Trat Municipal Police Station, led by Police Colonel Tachit Kulkanistharagorn, investigated a death at a shop in Wang Krachae Subdistrict. They discovered the body of a 51-year-old woman named Wee inside a refrigerator used for storing fresh goods. Initial autopsy revealed bruises on her arms. The victim's 27-year-old son, Somsak, reported a disturbing incident from October 2023 where he caught a nearby worker attempting to sexually assault his intoxicated mother. He photographed the incident as evidence. While Somsak acknowledges his mother's heavy drinking habits, he suspects the death might not be accidental. Forensic police initially found no signs of violence. The body was sent to Trat Hospital for further investigation to determine the exact cause of death.
