Chinese New Year of the Fire Horse: Blessings, Lucky Menus, and Stunning Lantern Displays
Icon Siam is hosting a grand Chinese New Year celebration in partnership with government and private sector organizations, including the Ministry of Culture and Kasikorn Bank. The event, titled 'Suk Siam: Marvelous Chinese New Year of Prosperity', runs until February 22, 2024, embracing the Year of the Horse with a concept of 'Love & Luck in Prosperity'.
Highlights include blessings from three major deities: Tao Lao Eie (faith deity), Chai Sing Eie (wealth deity), and Tai Sui Eie for 2024. Visitors can pay respects to Guan Yu on horseback, symbolizing victory and competition. The event features special lucky culinary offerings from top chefs, including roast duck, golden pork, and auspicious seafood dishes.
Cultural performances include a spectacular lion dance on plum blossom poles, Chinese-Thai cultural shows, and interactive workshops like mask painting and fan decoration. Visitors can also enjoy free massages, calligraphy demonstrations, and shop for festive souvenirs.
