Tragic Accident: Motorcycle Family Crushed by Fuel Truck, Mother Killed at Intersection

A tragic accident involving a fuel truck and a motorcycle occurred on February 2nd at 8:45 PM, resulting in the death of a woman. The incident happened on Rama 1 Road heading towards Yot Se Intersection in Pathum Wan District, Bangkok. A red Honda PCX motorcycle was involved, with no visible license plate, and collided with a fuel truck with license plate 5784 from Pathum Thani. Three family members - mother, father, and child - were riding together when the fuel truck, following closely and turning towards Yot Se Bridge, struck and then ran over the motorcycle. The mother, identified as a Myanmar national, was killed instantly, while the father and child were injured and taken to a hospital. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation by Pathum Wan Police Station, and the victim's body will undergo forensic examination before being released to the family.
