Government Prepares to Celebrate Thai Paralympic Athletes' Success

The Ministry of Tourism and Sports, through the National Sports Development Fund, is preparing a ceremony to celebrate and reward the Thai Paralympic national team following their outstanding performance and gold medal dominance at the 13th ASEAN Para Games. The Thai Paralympic team achieved a total of 486 medals, consisting of 175 gold medals, 155 silver medals, and 156 bronze medals. The National Sports Development Fund will provide competition performance rewards totaling over 128,280,000 baht to boost morale for national team representatives. Additional prize money will also be awarded for two major Paralympic sporting events: the 5th Asian Youth Para Games in the United Arab Emirates and international championship competitions. The victory celebration and award ceremony will be held on Tuesday, February 3rd, 2569 (2026) from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the 8th floor of The Grand Fourwings Convention Hotel.
