At 8:30 AM on February 19, 2024, at Lat Lum Kaeo Police Station, 55-year-old Samruay (surname withheld), father-in-law of Noparat or 'L' (surname withheld), arrived with a female witness to file an official report. Earlier, 'L' had used a firearm to threaten and hold Samruay hostage, demanding his wife return, before fleeing from police. Samruay escaped and returned home to find his Honda Wave motorcycle in black and red missing. He filed the report to prevent potential illegal use of the vehicle by a third party. Samruay briefly mentioned that his daughter is currently in Chonburi and they have no phone contact. Later, L's mother and uncle visited the police station, bringing food and expressing that L is stressed and anxious.
