No Corners Punched - Fierce Battle for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Positions, 4th to 6th Now Clear
As we enter the final week before the February 8th election, expectations are high for various political strategies to be deployed in an attempt to swing popularity. In reality, deep election field data indicates that the three major parties - orange (Prachachart), red (Pheu Thai), and blue (Phumjai Thai) - are in an extremely close competition. The chances of winning the top 1-2-3 positions belong to these three parties, and they are certain to secure over 100 parliamentary seats, ranging from 120 to potentially 150 seats or even more. It can be concluded that Prachachart, Pheu Thai, and Phumjai Thai will collectively occupy 400 seats, with the remaining 100 seats going to mid-sized parties in the 4th-6th positions. Currently, Kla Thamma Party is expected to be 4th, Democrat Party 5th, and Prachachat Party 6th. Kla Thamma, led by Maj. Thammas Phromphao and party leader Dr. Naruemon Pinyosinwat, has been aggressively campaigning and is likely to enter parliament in the 4th position. Thammas and Dr. Maem are targeting up to 50 seats, with current projections around 30 seats. The battle for 4th place involves the Democrat Party, which has managed to revive its traditional support base under Abhisit Vejjajiva's leadership. However, they are expected to gain fewer constituency seats, with better prospects in the party-list seats, though likely not enough to overtake Kla Thamma. The 6th position is likely to be secured by Prachachat Party, which remains strong in the southern border provinces. Former Justice Minister Pol. Gen. Tawee Sodsong is expected to boost the party's party-list seat count. The race for the top 3 positions remains intense, while the 4th to 6th positions are becoming increasingly clear!
