17-Year-Old Youth Arrested for Fatally Stabbing Immigration Police Officer

Police arrested a 17-year-old youth named Watchara Phanu (alias Boy) for fatally stabbing Police Sergeant Sutthiwut Hoklang from Udon Thani Immigration Police. The incident occurred near the Chang Erawan BTS Green Line station in Samut Prakan province. The suspect was captured at his home in Bang Pueng sub-district after police reviewed CCTV footage and tracked his escape route. During questioning, he admitted to the attack, claiming he was enraged after a traffic confrontation and did not intend to kill the officer. The police investigation revealed that the victim had allegedly collided with the suspect's motorcycle, leading to an argument that escalated to the fatal stabbing.
