Urgent Fire Evacuation: Massive Blaze Engulfs Popular Nightclub in Samut Prakan

Firefighting teams mobilized to extinguish a massive nightclub fire in Samut Prakan on February 12, 2024, at 3:45 PM. Over 10 fire trucks from Bang Sao Thong and nearby municipalities responded to the emergency, along with rescue foundation units. The large nightclub was engulfed in thick brown smoke from burning heat and sound insulation foam, creating significant challenges for firefighters. Fire Chief Arthit Plian Bang Chang reported that the fire had spread to nearly 100 percent of the building, with the most intense burning in the long sofa area on the left side of the venue. Firefighters initially believed the fire was controlled after using chemical extinguishers, but an electrical short circuit from a ceiling fan reignited the blaze, causing it to spread rapidly through foam and fiberglass soundproofing materials. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and a thorough investigation is pending.
