Smugglers Caught with 283 Mobile Phones, Transporting 8 Chinese and Myanmar Nationals

Police intercepted a suspicious white Toyota sedan on Highway 359 in Prachinburi province, discovering 8 Chinese and Myanmar nationals with no proper travel documentation. The vehicle was packed with 283 mobile phones, 118 charging cables, 2 laptops, and other communication devices. The driver, Chonlathit, 37, admitted to being paid 10,000 baht to transport the group from Sa Kaeo province to a hotel in Pathum Thani. Following up, police found an additional 5 Myanmar nationals waiting in a hotel room, all without proper immigration documents. The suspects were charged with illegal entry and human smuggling.
