Underwater Wedding Ceremony: 29th Annual Underwater Marriage Event
The 29th underwater wedding ceremony was a joyful event, with couples registering their marriages on the beach and underwater. On February 14, 2026, Trang Province Governor Songklod Sawangwong traveled to Sivalai Beach on Muk Island to present marriage certificates to 12 couples. This year, 20 couples from Thailand and abroad came to Sivalai Beach for the underwater wedding ceremony as part of the Trang Love Festival. In the afternoon at 1:00 PM, 6 couples went by boat to a single rock area near Emerald Cave in Chao Mai National Park. They dove to a depth of 5-6 meters to register their marriages underwater, surrounded by colorful fish as witnesses. Foreign couples shared romantic underwater kisses, with some dressed in Poseidon or sea god costumes. All 6 couples were extremely impressed by the beautiful Trang sea.
