3 Chinese Nationals Caught Fleeing Cambodia, Paying 5,000 Yuan to Cross Border into Thailand
On February 12th, the Eastern Military Task Force, led by Colonel Chainarong Kasi, intercepted 3 Chinese nationals illegally crossing the border from Cambodia through a natural crossing point near an sugarcane field in Sa Kaeo Province, approximately 120 meters from the border. The men had no proper travel documents and admitted to paying 5,000 Yuan (approximately 22,560 Baht) to a Cambodian smuggler to cross into Thailand. Their intention was to explore business opportunities in Bangkok, with one of them planning to return to China. After capture, they were taken to the military unit and subsequently transferred to local police for legal processing.
