Yossanan Charms Paet Riu Voters, Urges Support for Pheu Thai Party MPs
On February 1st, 2024, at 12:20 PM, Yossanan and his team visited the Vintage Market in Phanom Sarakham District, Chachoengsao Province, to meet and rally support for the four Pheu Thai Party MP candidates. The event was packed with supporters, including list candidates Suchat Tantcharoen and Jaturon Chaisang. Nattawut Saiyakue, a Pheu Thai campaign helper, emphasized that their candidates are clear about their party affiliation, with Yossanan as their prime ministerial candidate - unlike other parties who are vague about their party and leadership. Yossanan addressed the challenges facing local farmers, particularly noting the dramatic drop in coconut prices from 10 baht to just 3-4 baht per coconut. He promised to use science and technology to help farmers, highlighting that various coconut parts could be transformed into medicine, potentially increasing their value exponentially. He also discussed the wild elephant problem in District 3, where elephants have been destroying crops and even causing human fatalities. The party plans to continue building elephant barriers and support affected agricultural communities. Regarding tourism, Yossanan proposed developing Chachoengsao from a mere transit point to a week-long destination by connecting gardens, villages, markets, and temples through homestay programs and agricultural product sales. "On February 8th, beyond being election day, we will turn the people's hopes and dreams into reality," Yossanan stated. Later that day, he continued campaigning at the Roeng Si Market in Bang Pakong District, supporting another candidate and receiving warm welcome from local residents.
