Kanvee Listens to Southern Border Provinces, Advocates Lifting Special Laws and Defamation Cases

On February 3rd, 2024, Kanvee Suebsaeng, a party-list MP candidate and leader of the Palang Movement Party, visited Southern border provinces with party candidates Sainuding Yuso and Usman Dao. The team met with locals at Narathat Beach in Narathiwat and Chang Phueak Public Park in Yala, receiving a warm welcome and engaging in close discussions about party policies. During the visit, local residents shared their concerns about Narathiwat province, which have never been seriously addressed. Kanvee listened to their proposals and committed to pushing for solutions in the Southern border provinces, emphasizing that peace negotiations are the critical starting point. The party proposed a three-pronged peace strategy: elevating peace talks to a national agenda, removing legal restrictions on local identities, and reforming administrative structures. Economically, they suggest promoting community-based and creative economic models, highlighting local products like Kuipo and fish strips that could be developed for global markets. Kanvee expressed confidence in the election, believing that people will recognize their genuine intent to solve problems directly and effectively.
