Wife in Shock: Husband Killed After Confrontation with Relative at Noodle Shop
Close relatives with existing tension encountered each other at a noodle shop, with one gesturing the victim outside to talk. After a physical fight, the other party pulled out a knife and fatally stabbed the victim. At 1:30 PM on February 12, 2024, police at Tha Maka Police Station in Kanchanaburi were notified of a fatal stabbing in the community.
At the scene, officers found a 36-year-old man dead with multiple stab wounds, his motorcycle fallen about 100 meters away. Witnesses reported the victim was ordering noodles when another man arrived, called him outside, and shortly after a physical confrontation occurred. The victim's wife later stated the perpetrator was a nearby relative with whom they previously had conflicts.
Police arrested Perawat, a 40-year-old relative of the victim, who confessed to the killing. He claimed the victim had cut him off while driving, which led to an argument and physical fight that ended with him stabbing the victim. The victim attempted to seek help from nearby residents but collapsed and died. Authorities have sent the body for forensic examination and are gathering evidence to proceed with legal action.
