Jullaphan Criticizes Bhumjaithai: Don't Monopolize Patriotism and Divide People
On January 31st, Yossanan Wongsawat, a Pheu Thai Party prime ministerial candidate, traveled to Mueang Phan Municipality in Chiang Rai Province to support Wisaradee Techateerawat, a parliamentary candidate for Chiang Rai Constituency 4. He then went to Jedee Luang Phitthaya School in Mae Suay to support Wisar Techateerawat, a candidate for Chiang Rai Constituency 3.
At 5:00 PM, Yossanan and his team arrived at the GMS International Convention and Exhibition Center in Mueang Chiang Rai to support Thanarach Jongsuttanamornee, a candidate for Chiang Rai Constituency 1, where they were warmly welcomed by a full crowd.
Jullaphan Amornvivat, the Pheu Thai Party leader, gave a speech criticizing the Bhumjaithai Party's recent behavior. He addressed them directly, saying that while candidates like Yossanan are gaining more public love every day, the party seems fearful of losing their chance to return to power.
He emphasized that monopolizing patriotism and claiming only certain people love the country is divisive. "Everyone here loves the country," he stated. "No matter which party, we all love Thailand equally. Don't monopolize patriotism and create divisions."
Jullaphan further criticized the party, comparing their tactics to those of Hun Sen, accusing them of stirring up nationalist sentiment and potentially creating border conflicts for electoral gain. He concluded by asserting that Pheu Thai stands for equal patriotism and is committed to solving people's problems.
