Identified: Car Approaches Famous School, Suspiciously Tries to Lure Students, Police on High Alert
On February 6th, parents from Chulalongkorn Demonstration School, Pathum Wan Demonstration School, and Triam Udom Suksa School reported a vehicle circling the school. The driver appeared to be attempting to entice secondary school students into the car, but students refused to get in and were not harmed. Police leadership, including Pol. Maj. Gen. Chaiyakrit Pho-a, immediately investigated the incident to enhance safety measures and provide reassurance to students, parents, and educational staff. Upon questioning, the driver - who works as a ride-hailing app driver - claimed he was simply trying to confirm if students needed a ride. Police have now increased patrols around schools, especially during dismissal times, to ensure student safety and provide a sense of security.
