Richard Goes Berserk! Sick Sister Tries to Stop Him, Fatally Shot

A shocking incident unfolded when Suchart, aged 47, nicknamed 'Richard', shot and killed his 54-year-old sister Duean Phen after becoming distraught and intoxicated. Police were called to a single-story house in Nong Bua Sala, Nakhon Ratchasima, where they found the victim with two gunshot wounds to her abdomen. After the shooting, Suchart barricaded himself inside the house, threatening police and holding a short-barreled weapon. Officers surrounded the house and spent over an hour negotiating before Suchart finally surrendered. According to initial investigations, Suchart was stressed by mounting debts and had recently been caring for his sick sister.
