Drug Bust: 30 Sacks of Methamphetamine Buried in Farmland Exposed by Villagers' Tip
A special military task force from Tha Chana Task Force and Mountain Area Forces conducted a major drug bust, seizing 6 million methamphetamine pills and arresting three suspects aged 35, 55, and 60 from Chiang Rai province. The operation was triggered by reports of suspicious activity in a rice field in Ban Hong Hae village, where officials discovered 30 sacks of drugs buried underground. The suspects admitted to receiving the drugs from the border area of Mae Sai district and waiting for instructions to transport them to central Thailand.
