On February 23, 2024, at 11:10 AM at Khlong Prem Central Prison, Pinthongtha Shinawatra (known as Em), the middle daughter of former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, visited her father along with his lawyer Winnyat Chart Montr. This was her 42nd visit, with Thaksin currently having been detained for 5 months and 14 days. Em was welcomed by red-shirt supporters and spoke to them after the visit, confirming her father's good health and that he will complete 6 months in prison soon. When asked about potential ministerial appointments for Yossanan Wongsawat, Em deflected, stating that her father typically leaves such political matters to the party.
