TAT Promotes 'Amazing MuayThai Festival 2026' to Boost Sports Tourism
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is organizing the 'Amazing MuayThai Festival 2026' in collaboration with Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, Royal Thai Army, Sports Authority of Thailand, Ministry of Culture, and other partners. The event will take place from February 4-7, 2026, at Rajabhakti Park in Hua Hin. Organizers expect over 18,000 participants and anticipate generating approximately 214 million baht in economic circulation. The festival aims to showcase the unique identity of Muay Thai, promote its cultural art of fighting to an international audience, and elevate the sport to global standards. Themed 'Ultimate Muay Thai Experience', the event will feature diverse activities including Muay Thai competitions, demonstrations of traditional fighting styles, cultural performances, and skills workshops. Highlights include a ceremonial tribute to seven historical monarchs, a traditional teacher blessing ceremony, and a spectacular light and sound show with over 1,500 performers, culminating on February 6th, which is officially designated as 'Muay Thai Day'.
