LOPIA JAPAN, Top Japanese Supermarket, Launches First Branch at Central Chaengwattana
LOPIA JAPAN, the top supermarket from Japan, has planted its first branch at Central Chaengwattana, prepared to revolutionize the wagyu meat market in Thailand. Hitoshi Mizumoto, company director and head of the Asian regional office, revealed that the Japanese food specialist supermarket officially opened on February 11, 2024, on the G floor of Central Chaengwattana. The store emphasizes importing and distributing Japanese products across five departments: meat, fruits and vegetables, seafood, prepared foods, and processed products, all packed with flavor and freshness in a 1,000 square meter area. The company's business philosophy is to provide valuable products at accessible prices, committed to offering similar products at lower prices and maintaining superior quality at comparable price points. Their international expansion aims to spread Japanese food worldwide and create a store where everyone can experience Japanese culture without traveling to Japan. Highlights include premium wagyu meat and oversized sushi with fresh seafood ingredients. The supermarket is part of the OIC Group and has 139 branches in Japan, with this being their first branch in Southeast Asia after successfully expanding to Taiwan.
