Bangkok Election Commission Ready for New Election in District 15, Uncertain about Ballot Design

The Election Commission (EC) canceled its weekly Wednesday meeting due to urgent matters regarding vote recounting in problematic polling units. Acting Director Sampath Saengkamloet confirmed preparations for re-running parliamentary and referendum voting in District 9, Unit 15, Kannayao, Bangkok on February 22nd from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Thai Post Company will directly deliver election materials and ballots to district offices. The ballot design remains undetermined, and officials will only see the final format when distributed on the morning of February 22nd. The EC has instructed polling unit staff to be cautious when filling out documents and to follow all legal procedures carefully.
