Thammanat Denies Conditions for Cooperation, Says 'Take It If You Want'
Thammanat Phromphao, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture, speaking as chairman of the Kla Party's advisory board, addressed government coalition negotiations. He stated he has been following news but has not personally provided any information. He emphasized that government formation depends on the Election Commission's vote certification, and wants 95% confirmation before any discussions. Thammanat noted that most parties are merely showing goodwill to Anuddin as potential Prime Minister, with Kla Party being the only one not yet committed. He stressed that political etiquette requires allowing the leading party (Bhumjaithai) to manage government formation first. When asked about potential ministry positions, he clarified that ministerial assignments are not personal preferences but are negotiated by party leaders.
