King Power Joins Forces with Allies for 'Pink Power & Charity Day'
King Power joined forces with allies to respond to the global #KickCancerThon campaign, organizing 'Pink Power & Charity Day: United for Pink Hope' under the concept 'Think Global, Act Local' at VS Square King Power Rang Nam. The event was held in collaboration with The Moodie Davitt Report, a leading media outlet in travel retail and aviation, along with Thanyarak Breast Center and the Thanyarak Foundation under Royal Patronage.
The event focused on creating awareness and fundraising to support breast cancer prevention and treatment, which is the primary health threat for Thai women. The industry-wide initiative aimed to transform illness into a powerful fight against cancer, with King Power emphasizing preventative health screening for its personnel while supporting the Thanyarak Foundation's mission as a standard international center for breast diagnosis and medical research.
Highlights included a Health Forum and Health Talk featuring expert doctors discussing breast cancer prevention, screening, treatment, and access to healthcare. Apichet Srivattanaprapha, King Power's Assistant Chief Operating Officer, emphasized that an organization's power is measured not just by business success, but by its ability to create positive social change.
Dr. Chalermdet Kannawat from Siriraj Hospital noted that breast cancer remains the top health threat for Thai women, and early detection with quality treatment significantly increases survival chances.
