Po Tek Tung Foundation Allocates 18.25 Million Baht to Support Flood Victims in 9 Southern Provinces

Po Tek Tung Foundation has initiated a comprehensive relief effort for flood victims in nine southern provinces, with a total budget of 18.25 million baht. The project, led by Chairman Wichien Techaphaiboon and Public Disaster Relief Department head Ratchaporn Prasongsuap, involves distributing 31,500 relief packages worth 450 baht each, containing essential items like rice, instant noodles, canned fish, cooking oil, and fish sauce. The foundation will provide 12,000 baht to 25 families with completely damaged homes and 20,000 baht in funeral assistance to 189 families who lost loved ones. Emergency response teams were quickly deployed with rescue boats, equipment, generators, high-clearance 4x4 vehicles, life jackets, drinking water, and medical supplies to immediately assist affected areas. The foundation continues to coordinate with local government agencies and charitable organizations to provide ongoing support and monitor the flood situation.
