Crafty Employee Fabricates Robbery Story, Actually Stole Money from Employer

On February 9, 2024, police at Nong Chok Police Station investigated a reported robbery. The alleged victim, Wasan, 30 years old, claimed two suspects robbed him of 4,000 baht and an iPhone 11. However, during questioning, it was revealed that Wasan was an employee who had stolen money from his employer and deposited it into his own account. Fearing consequences, he fabricated a robbery story and reported it to emergency services. Police ultimately charged him with filing a false report and handed him over to investigators for legal proceedings.
