Pheu Thai Parliamentary Candidate Threatens Legal Action Against Vote-Buying Accusers
A Pheu Thai parliamentary candidate from Sai Mai district is preparing to pursue legal action against those spreading vote-buying accusations. On February 4th, online messages circulated claiming a candidate (Number 7) would pay 700 baht for votes. The candidate in question, Rattikan 'Ae' Kaewkerdmee, strongly denied these allegations.
In a Facebook post, she emphasized that Pheu Thai party does not support vote-buying in any form. She challenged anyone with evidence of election law violations to come forward through legal channels. Rattikan stated she is ready to prove her innocence and has a legal team prepared to take action against those spreading false rumors.
She urged competitors to focus on policies and working for the people instead of using underground tactics, and invited anyone with concrete evidence to pursue legal proceedings.
