Sky-High IQ – Thai Students Win Awards at International Code Genius Competition
Code Genius, a youth coding skills development institute under LEARN Corporation, continues to reinforce Thailand's leadership in coding education through a model of developing children via real competitions that link learning with current world experiences.
Recently, Code Genius led a Thai student team to an international competition, winning a total of 15 awards at the 2025 G-PRC Global Pro Robot Championship in South Korea, including the main competition's top prize, reflecting Thai children's potential in coding and robotics on the global stage.
The competition was honored by Jidapa Lamyong, a representative from the Thai Embassy in Seoul, who joined to encourage and take photos with students during the event. Previously, Code Genius sent 13 selected students to the 2025 Junior Botball Challenge Global Finals in Beijing, with all students winning awards.
Simultaneously, Code Genius is expanding its role from youth development to competition stages, organizing the INNOVATION ARENA COMPETITION, which is supported by the Minister of Digital Economy and Society. The event is designed to help participants learn through workshops and real competitions, practicing systematic thinking, planning, and problem-solving through hands-on experience.
Code Genius has also received organizational recognition, winning three categories at The Royal Angel Well Awards 2025, reflecting the organization's systematic approach to youth and human technology resource development.
Founder Chonpatin Plapipat stated, 'We see competitions not as an endpoint, but as a tool for building mindsets. Helping children make decisions, solve problems, and experience results prepares them for the real world. Our role is not just sending kids to competitions, but designing learning experiences that connect coding with systematic thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving.'
