Thai Life Insurance Pays Compensation of 3,356,343 Baht to 2 Deceased Military Pilots
Thai Life Insurance has paid compensation totaling 3,356,343.81 baht to the families of two military pilots who died in an accident.
Denpong Jetsadaviriya, Assistant Chief Executive of Thai Life Insurance Public Company, revealed that the incident involved an AT-6TH military training aircraft from Squadron 411, Wing 41, which crashed during a training mission in Chom Thong District, Chiang Mai Province, on January 29, 2026, resulting in the death of two pilots while on duty.
The company expressed condolences to the families of the deceased, who were Royal Thai Air Force personnel. They were covered under a group life insurance policy called "Protect Air Force Personnel" with 1,200,000 baht coverage per person.
Upon investigation, it was found that one of the pilots was insured with Thai Life Insurance. The company quickly processed and approved the death benefit, paying an additional 956,343.81 baht under their "Hot Claim" project, bringing the total compensation to 3,356,343.81 baht.
