Temple Boy Enraged, Stabs Friend to Death Over Motorcycle Loan

At 00:29 on February 22, 2024, police were notified of a fatal stabbing behind a temple in Prosong Subdistrict, Tha Chana District, Surat Thani Province. The victim, Nattapong (last name withheld), 31, was found face down with a knife wound. The perpetrator, Jakkarin (last name withheld), 41, was a fellow temple resident and close friend. Jakkarin surrendered at the scene and confessed to the crime. He explained that the conflict arose after Nattapong borrowed his motorcycle overnight and did not answer his phone calls. When Nattapong arrived, they began arguing, which escalated to Jakkarin stabbing him to death.
