First 'Warriors Meet' Event Inspires Over 800 Youth, Honors Military Veterans
The first 'Warriors Meet' event activated the consciousness of over 800 youth, paying tribute to veterans. General Kant-nat Nikornyanont, Director of the War Veterans Welfare Organization, led a multimedia presentation for military students as part of the 'Youth Awareness of Veterans' Sacrifice' project. The event was held at the military student training camp (Khao Chon Kai) in Kanchanaburi province on February 17, 2024. The program included a war-themed exhibition honoring soldiers who died protecting the Thai-Cambodian border, with a panel discussion led by Navy Captain Thammanu Wanna discussing the successful mission to reclaim Nong Ri village in Trat province. The activity aims to instill awareness among youth about the bravery and sacrifice of veterans while improving the organization's image. Two events are planned, with the next one scheduled for March 5, 2024.
