SCGP Sets 10,000 Million Baht Investment Budget, Focusing on ASEAN Growth Strategy

SCG Packaging (SCGP) has set a 10,000 million baht investment budget for its growth strategy, focusing on ASEAN investments in consumer-linked packaging. Wichan Jitpakdee, CEO of SCGP, revealed at the Opportunity Day event that the company aims for an EBITDA target of 18,300 million baht in 2026, with plans to expand investments in Vietnam and Indonesia, and explore market opportunities in India. The company is also integrating automation, robotics, collaborative robots, and artificial intelligence into its production processes to improve packaging quality control, reduce costs, and enhance material management. SCGP plans to increase alternative energy usage to 40% to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and align with ESG principles. The packaging industry outlook for Q1 2026 suggests continued growth in ASEAN markets, with stable packaging and raw material costs.
