Lord Sayom Moves Forward with 'Sam Sian': Adapting Traditional Folk Drama with AI and Modern Platforms
Lord Sayom, son of Pairach Sangwaribut from Sam Sian production company, is transforming the legendary Thai folk drama 'Jak Jak Wong Wong' to meet digital-era viewer demands. At a recent event at Paradise Park, he shared plans to expand online platforms, streamline storytelling, and incorporate AI technology to improve computer graphics. The company has conducted audience surveys to guide their modernization efforts, aiming to make their traditional storytelling more accessible on mobile devices and diverse digital platforms. They plan to shorten future productions, with upcoming drama 'Kaew Na Ma' expected to be around 20 episodes, compared to previous 100-episode epics. Sayom emphasized maintaining the essence of Thai storytelling while adapting to changing viewer preferences and technological advancements.
