National team players Worapol Thongsanga and Ot-Chalermphol Charoenkitamorn, ranked 60th globally from VS Sport Thailand, successfully won the men's doubles open category championship as expected, receiving a 100,000 baht prize. The tournament was held at MU Stadium, Mahidol University Salaya, with Air Chief Marshal Montol Satchukorn, President of the Badminton Association of Thailand, presiding over the closing ceremony. The final match saw Worapol and Chalermphol defeat Prince-Veerabhat Pakjarung and Mark-Tanuphat Wiriyangkura from VS Sport Thailand 2-0 (23-21, 22-20). The tournament aimed to elevate amateur badminton to international standards, providing opportunities for athletes to develop and showcase their skills.
