Lawyer Demands Constitutional Court Nullify Election, Citing Barcode Ballot Concerns

On February 13th at the Election Commission office, lawyer Phattraphong Suphaksorn (known as Lawyer Tian from Buriram) filed a complaint with the Ombudsman's chairman, raising two key election issues. First, he argued that election ballots with barcodes that can identify voters violate constitutional provisions, making the election non-secret. Second, he noted discrepancies in ballot numbers between party-list and constituency representative ballots. Phattraphong warned that the barcodes could potentially allow tracking of individual votes, potentially enabling vote manipulation. He called for holding election officials accountable and threatened legal action against election officials from local to national levels.
