Kota Sends Encouragement to Rotton After Knockout Loss to Takeru at One Samurai

Japanese boxer Kota Miura, a fan favorite in Thailand, has posted an encouraging message to Thai fighter Rotton Chitmeungnon following his knockout loss to Takeru Segawa at One Samurai 1. Rotton was knocked out in the fifth round by his former rival Takeru at Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan on Wednesday, April 29. After the fight, Kota, who traveled to support Rotton's corner during his bout with Takeru, posted an encouraging message to the Thai boxer via Instagram Stories saying: "You've always been an amazing and cool guy. Thank you so much for coming to Japan and fighting. I hope everything works out for the best and you'll return to the ring again. Brother, you'll always be a king." Kota, the younger son of Kazuyoshi Miura, the legendary Japanese national football striker, is well acquainted with Thailand since he regularly competes in Muay Thai.
