Bangchak Sets Target of 1 Trillion Baht Revenue by 2030
Chaiwat Kovavisaraj, CEO of Bangchak Corporation, revealed that the energy business in 2026 will still face market volatility and global energy price trends. The company aims to drive continuous growth following the global Energy Addition model, where new energy forms are continuously integrated alongside traditional energy bases. Over the past 10 years, the company has experienced exponential growth, with sales expanding 4-5 times from hundreds of billions to a target of 500 billion baht this year. The strategy focuses on two key business groups for new growth: oil trading and petroleum exploration and production, to enhance regional competitive potential and support energy security. The company recently acquired a 100% stake in Chevron Hong Kong Limited for 270 million dollars, considering it a low-risk investment expected to break even in 6-7 years. In the long term, Bangchak aims to become a trillion-baht company by 2030, targeting 1 trillion baht in revenue and 100 billion baht in EBITDA through expanded traditional and clean energy, retail business, and international investments.
