Young Tennis Talents Compete for National Team Selection

The national youth tennis team selection tournament for under-12, under-14, and under-16 age groups took place at the National Tennis Development Center in Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi on February 4, 2024, reaching its semifinal stages. Highlights of the tournament include winners not only advancing to the final rounds but also earning the right to represent the Thai national youth team. In the under-14 boys' singles semifinal, Pannaphath Nimnuankul from Bangkok defeated Farouk Kovitwattanachai from Chonburi 2-0 (6-4, 6-3), securing his place in the final. In the girls' under-14 singles semifinal, Ployphet Duangkhiao from Songkhla defeated Nichwarat Ploykasemsuk from Bangkok 2-0 (6-1, 7-5), also advancing to the final round. Additional semifinal matches were held across different age groups and categories, showcasing emerging tennis talents from various provinces.
