Plubplachai 1 Police SWAT Team Arrests Aggressive Man After Crystal Meth Binge

On February 20, a police team including high-ranking officers from the Plubplachai 1 Police Station and SWAT team arrested Panya, a 39-year-old man from Chanthaburi province, at Nak Bamrung Alley in Bangkok's Pom Prap Sattru Phai district. The incident occurred after police were alerted to an aggressive man wielding a knife. During the arrest, Panya admitted to using crystal meth in the past 2-3 days. A drug test confirmed his drug use, and he was charged with drug possession and use. Police found no illegal items during the initial search but proceeded to take him into custody for further legal processing.
