Pro Jino Triumphs: First Home Championship in Honda LPGA Thailand
The Honda LPGA Thailand 2026 tournament at Siam Country Club Old Course in Chonburi featured 72 world-class LPGA tour golfers competing for a total prize of $1.8 million on February 22nd. 'Pro Jino' Ariya Jutanugarn, the world's No. 1 golfer and Thai fan favorite, maintained her impressive form by shooting 4-under-par 66 with 6 birdies and 2 bogeys, finishing with a total score of 24-under-par 264 to claim the championship. She won her first Honda LPGA Thailand title, marking her 8th LPGA tour victory and becoming the third Thai woman to win this tournament, following 'Pro May' Ariya Jutanugarn in 2021 and 'Pro Patty' Pajaree Anannarukarn in 2024. Japanese golfer Jisato Iwai finished as runner-up with a 23-under-par 265. Other notable Thai golfers included 'Pro May' Ariya Jutanugarn in 8th place, 'Pro Meow' Pajaree Anannarukarn in 18th, and 'Pro April' Chanoknan Angurasaree in 24th place.
