Arrested at Hotel: Procurer Caught Supplying Minors for Prostitution, Facing 6 Serious Charges

Police from the Kalasin Provincial Investigation Division planned and executed an arrest of a 38-year-old transgender individual named Win (pseudonym) at a hotel, after investigating reports of underage prostitution recruitment. The operation was based on intelligence from an informant who discovered the suspect was using LINE messaging app to act as a broker for selling sexual services of underage girls in Mueang District, Kalasin Province. During the arrest, police seized 1,500 baht in cash, two mobile phones, and one vehicle. The suspect was charged with human trafficking, soliciting minors for sexual services, promoting inappropriate behavior for minors, and multiple child exploitation offenses.
