During a policy meeting in the four southern border provinces on February 17th, Prime Minister Anuthin Charnvirakul announced that the Election Commission has approved flood relief payments for Hat Yai, Songkhla. He instructed the provincial governor to coordinate immediate transfer of 9,000 baht per household to registered flood victims, bypassing cabinet meetings.
