People's Party Holds Large Rally in Phuket, "Rom" Points Out Attempts to Block "Orange" Party from Forming Government
The People's Party held a large rally in Phuket, with Rangsiman Rom, the party's deputy leader, arguing that attempts to block their party from forming a government stem from people's fear of losing their advantages.
During the rally on January 30 at the Kathu District Office field, the People's Party's Southern Region 2 caravan was led by key party members including Rangsiman Rom, Chutima Kochaphan, Romdon Panjor, and campaign assistant Sunthorn Boonyod.
Rangsiman emphasized that the upcoming election is about choosing Thailand's future. He claimed that the People's Party is the only option for a new future, criticizing the current political establishment for blocking their path to government. He argued that the real reason behind their obstruction is fear - fear of losing the corrupt systems and unequal power structures that benefit a small minority.
The party leader discussed various issues including budget distribution, corruption, and economic inequalities. He specifically highlighted problems with free visa policies, low-quality tourism, and drug-related issues, suggesting that these are symptoms of a deeply flawed system.
Rangsiman promised that if the People's Party gains power under potential Prime Minister Nattapong, they will decisively tackle illegal activities and corrupt practices, breaking what he calls the current system's "chain of evil".
