Oil Fund Reduces Fuel Levy for Fourth Time to Stabilize Diesel and Gasoline Prices
The Oil Fuel Fund Committee has approved reducing the fuel fund rate by 39 satang per liter for diesel and 40-50 satang per liter for gasoline, except for E85 gasohol which drops by 12 satang per liter. The fund has managed to return to a positive status for the first time in 4 years, reaching 505 million baht after previously being over 100 billion baht in the negative in 2022. Global oil prices are beginning to rise due to negotiations between the United States and Iran, with potential complications in their upcoming meeting that could further impact international oil markets.
