Thanaphum and Kritayot Clinch Gold Medals at International Taekwondo Championship in Nepal
Two Thai kicking champions, Thanaphum Fueanggnoi and Kritayot Phrompat, secured two gold medals at the 4th Mt.Everest International Taekwondo Championships 2026 in Kathmandu, Nepal on February 18th. The Thai athletes performed exceptionally well, with Thanaphum winning gold in the men's under 68 kg category and Kritayot taking gold in the men's under 74 kg category. In the first day of competition, the Thai national taekwondo team had already won 1 silver and 1 bronze medal, with Thanadhorn Sae-Jo winning silver in the under 80 kg category and Jack Woody Mercer winning bronze in the under 87 kg category. The team's final result includes 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal, and 1 bronze medal.
