Police Raid Luxury Home, Catch Two Chinese Nationals Fleeing; Discover 3 Chemical Production Stations
Local residents complained about a luxury house dumping chemical waste into a canal with a pungent smell. Police and municipal officers from Bang Lamung, Chonburi, raided the property and encountered two Chinese brothers attempting to escape. One brother jumped over a wall and fractured his leg during the pursuit.
During the investigation, officers found three chemical production stations in glass containers on the second floor, containing light brown liquid. The ground floor had additional unused chemical stations, over 40 blue 30-liter gallons, and more than 50 metal cans. Drug tests revealed traces of ketamine and cocaine.
The younger brother claimed to be a house guardian, communicating through a translation app and stating he had just entered Thailand on January 11th. The village head reported residents had been suffering from strong chemical odors for over a month before reporting the issue.
The house owner's brother revealed he had rented the property to foreign tenants for 120,000 baht per month, unaware of their suspicious activities. Authorities seized all evidence and contacted narcotics police to investigate the chemical setup further.
