Rambhai Barni University organized the 'RBRU Golf Ryder Cup 2026' charity golf tournament to honor Queen Ramphaiphanni of the 7th Reign on her 121st birth anniversary and celebrate her UNESCO world-important figure recognition. University leaders, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Boonyin Jinajin, Prof. Dr. Prakit Tienboon, and Sitthiporn Krutnak, collaborated to host the event at the Rambhai Phanni Golf Course. The tournament aims to pay tribute to the queen and highlight her legacy. The event featured multiple activities, including a Junior Golf Ryder Cup, Rambhai Barni Golf Ryder Cup, and a charity golf drive. Sutin Darunyothin, President of the Thai Golf Sports Foundation, also announced the 'Route of Girl Golf Game' project to develop human potential and promote social equality. General Wuthinan Leelayuth, the university council president, led the ceremonial tribute, praising the queen's sports achievements and her title 'Queen of Golf'. Chanthaburi Province Governor Monsiths Phaisantanawat emphasized the event's importance in honoring the queen and strengthening community bonds. A highlight of the event was the auction of a signed golf cap by world-ranking LPGA golfer Ariya Jutanugarn, which sold for 59,999 baht, symbolizing the collaborative spirit of Chanthaburi province.
