Phiphat Declares Election Commission Not Aligned with Blue Party, Cites Flood Relief Budget Rejection

Phiphat strongly criticized the government for not providing flood relief, questioning who is responsible after the Election Commission did not approve the relief budget. He highlighted that this reflects the Election Commission is not aligned with the blue party. Phiphat emphasized that if elected representatives fail to work effectively, they should not expect to be re-elected, warning that repeated failures become a generational problem. During a meeting at the Pheu Thai Party coordination center in Surat Thani's Tha Chang district, Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, a Southern region party leader, accompanied by candidate Pichai Chomphuphol, discussed the upcoming election. He noted the election is happening faster than expected due to political changes, including the prime ministerial transition. Phiphat stressed that if the party does not deliver on its promised policies in the 14 southern provinces, voters should not re-elect them. He challenged the Election Commission's rejection of the flood relief budget, suggesting this contradicts claims of the Commission's alignment with the Pheu Thai Party.
